About Foolish Deep

Caspar is the electrifying frontman, singer, guitarist, and composer behind the rising L.A.-based band Foolish Deep. With roots in Germany and the performance instincts of a seasoned showman, Caspar brings a commanding presence to the stage—one that reflects not just talent, but a lifetime shaped by music.

His journey began at home, watching his father perform on arena stages across Europe. Immersed in the behind-the-scenes world of recording studios, sound checks, and live shows from a young age, Caspar developed a deep understanding of musicianship that set him apart early on. Germany’s storied rock heritage—and his family's musical lifestyle—created fertile ground for his own creative spark to take root.

After leaving Germany, Caspar landed in London, where he cut his teeth as a solo artist in the city’s vibrant underground bar and pub scene. Performing night after night with just his guitar and voice, he honed his craft and found his voice. But after a year and a half of going it alone, he yearned for more than solo spotlights—he craved collaboration, energy, and a shared musical vision.

In 2016, that vision brought him to Los Angeles. There, he founded Foolish Deep, a band that reflects both his European sensibilities and a West Coast pop-rock flair. As the group’s lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter, Caspar channels nostalgia, depth, and theatricality into every performance. With two studio EPs and countless live shows under their belt, Foolish Deep has carved out a loyal fanbase across L.A.—and Caspar remains its charismatic core.

Whether on stage or in the studio, Caspar stands as a dynamic artist who bridges continents and genres, delivering music that’s as heartfelt as it is unforgettable.
